Start with the story

You do not need filmmaking experience to begin. Clever Tales Studio helps you turn an idea into a story, then into cinematic scenes and images.

  1. Describe the idea

One sentence is enough to begin.

Pick a genre, an art style and a language, choose how many beats you want, and describe the idea in a sentence or two. That short description is all the Studio needs.

Clever Tales Studio New Story screen: genre, art style and language chips, a target beat count, and a one-sentence premise.
  2. Shape the beats

The Studio divides the idea into beats.

From your description the Studio proposes a title, a fuller premise, author guidance and a beat list, with guidance for every beat. Edit any of it, regenerate a beat, add or remove beats until the shape is right.

  3. Expand into scenes

    Every beat becomes a scene.

Each beat is expanded into a written scene, and you work with the beat-and-scene pair side by side. Edit the prose, regenerate a scene with your own guidance, and keep your voice and choices at the center.

  4. Generate identities

Characters and places get a home, and a face, before the film does.

Add characters and locations and connect them to the scenes where they matter. Before any scene is rendered, each one gets a visual identity: an anchor image generated from its description and the story's art style. Identities are what keep the same dragon looking like the same dragon in every scene. Scene images are built from them, not from a blank prompt.

  5. Adapt it for the screen

Your story is the book. Cinematic scenes are the screenplay.

Every film adaptation starts the same way: pages become scenes, and each scene says what the camera sees, who is in frame, and where it happens. Clever Tales makes that transition for you. Each scene of your story becomes a cinematic scene with its shots, characters, and locations spelled out, and you review it before anything is generated.

  6. Coming

    Bring it to life

Video, voice, and music are the next chapters.

We are building video, voice, and music generation on top of the story and image workflow. These features are coming; they are not available in Clever Tales Studio today.
