Nia and the First Flame of Solmar

Nia and the First Flame of Solmar is a five-beat adventure written and developed in Clever Tales Studio from a two-sentence premise, in the Comic Book art style. Nia volunteers to carry the festival’s first flame across the city by rooftop, her sky-fox kite reads the wind for her, ribbons and a sea gust try to slow her down, and she leaps the last gap to the harbour tower as the noon bells begin.

The story came first: the Studio divided the premise into beats, expanded each beat into a scene, and pulled a cast of four characters and ten locations out of the text. Then the second scene was adapted for the screen. Nia, the kite, and Lantern Square were each given a generated identity, and the cinematic frame was rendered from those references. The pieces below show that chain: the frame, the identities behind it, and the prompts the Studio generated from.

Chapter 1, Scene 2 — the cinematic frame

Nia launched from Lantern Square into the market district at a run, the First Flame tucked safe against her chest as she sprang onto a striped awning and bounced higher with a laugh, her shoes skimming bunting and laundry lines before she landed light on a tiled roof above the crowd. Below her, festivalgoers streamed between stalls like bright fish through a reef, their cheers rising whenever she flashed past, while ahead the sky-fox kite swooped and corkscrewed with sly confidence, pausing just long enough to point its paper nose toward the cleanest ridge line as if it were choosing the route for her.

Generated comic-book cinematic frame: a girl with dark hair runs along a sunlit tiled rooftop holding a small glowing flame, an orange fox-shaped kite with long tail streamers flies ahead of her, and below, a festival crowd fills a harbour square strung with bunting beside the blue sea.
What the studio generated from

Comic-book adventure scene on the festival rooftops above Lantern Square in a whimsical coastal city: a slim dark-haired girl, Nia, runs and leaps across striped awnings, tiled roof ridges, chimneys, bunting, laundry lines, and market canopies, clutching a small glowing First Flame against her chest. A bright fox-shaped kite with long tail streamers swoops ahead, banking and zigzagging as if guiding her toward the harbor. Below, colorful festival crowds and stalls fill the streets like a lively mosaic. Keep the route easy to read, with bold diagonal roof angles, playful motion, and clear spatial continuity from square to rooftop line. Sunlit festival colors, sea breeze tugging ribbons, lively crowd energy, and a sense of forward momentum toward open roofs and the harbor skyline. Dynamic wide-to-medium tracking composition, comic-book linework, crisp coastal daylight, no modern signage or vehicles.

Nia — identity reference

The Studio drafted Nia from one sentence of premise: medium height for her age, slim agile build, youthful face, dark hair, bright alert eyes, light-to-medium skin tone, upright posture. Female, age 12. Her style prompt dresses her for rooftop travel, and the frame above was rendered from this reference so she stays the same girl in every scene.

Generated comic-book identity reference for Nia: a twelve-year-old girl with dark hair in a teal tunic, green shorts, boots and a leather chest harness, holding a small lantern, standing on a tiled rooftop under festival bunting with a bright seaside city and harbour behind her.
What the studio generated from

Festival-ready practical clothes suited for rooftop travel: fitted teal tunic, short trousers, sturdy shoes, and a chest harness for carrying the lantern. Nia stands on a sunlit tiled rooftop at late morning, bright blue sky, festival bunting and the colourful seaside city behind her, grinning with confidence. Vivid saturated comic-book colours, warm golden daylight, cheerful mood.

The sky-fox kite — identity reference

Not every character is a person. The kite is a character in the Studio because it acts in the story: it reads the wind, picks the route, and circles the tower at the end. Its description is small size, fox-shaped silhouette, bright fabric body, pointed ear shapes, long tail streamers, vivid colours, lightweight frame.

Generated comic-book identity reference for the sky-fox kite: an orange and cream fox-shaped kite with a fanned paper wing, pointed ears and long rainbow tail streamers, drawn against a plain white background.

Lantern Square — location reference

The square where the First Flame is kindled was generated once as a place: the central brazier, festival ribbons, tiled-roof buildings with sea-glass windows, and the harbour tower beyond. Every scene set there starts from this reference.

Generated comic-book location reference for Lantern Square: a sunny stone plaza with a central brazier, striped market awnings, colourful bunting strung between tiled-roof buildings with sea-glass windows, and a harbour tower and the sea beyond.
What the studio generated from

Bright late-morning sun over a festive coastal plaza: central stone brazier, striped market awnings, festival ribbons and bunting strung between tiled-roof buildings with sea-glass windows and balconies, the harbour tower and blue sea visible beyond. Vivid saturated comic-book colours, clear blue sky, cheerful and lively.
